Honestly, I thought it wasn't too big a deal, at the time. Even less of one today.

Reagan was a big picture sort of person, just like Bush is. This is what you want in a president, not a micro-manager like you-know-who, who ends up accomplishing NOTHING.

Reagan ended the Cold War and nuclear proliferation. Bush has made huge progress against the threat of terrorism. All because of FOCUS.

What happened in Central America, well, it just doesn't really matter ...
