Bush doesn't seem like a Republican to me. He spends a lot of money, increases the debt, is against stem research, and he is more into religion than business prosperity. For businesses to truly prosper, he needs to get rid of the huge dependency on oil, get a liberal-minded leader to handle this terrorism problem - not someone that's been trained only on the cold war.

Your right about the spending money, although the Republicans have changed and take to that as much as the Democrats nowadays.

As for the religion and opposing stem cell research, "cultural and religious conservatives" are a big part of the Republican party's constituncy and have been for a long time. As for "liberal minded" leader to handle the terrorist problem, I'm not sure what you even mean by that unless your asserting that a liberal democrat would be better against terrorism. I would hardly say that it would be "like a Republican" to hold such an idea or to hire someone based on it.
