Over on $trsts they're hooting and hollering about Bloomberg
saying oil will fall to $20.00 a barrel. Seems unlikely
in 2005 (who knows what will happen between now and 2005)
but oil could drop sharply as the Saudis try to help get
Bush elected. The royal family's heads, literarlly, are on
the line. They've known that for some time so have exported
revolution but now it is returning home. The question is,
over the next few months, between now and november, will
it be wise to accumulate cash? There has been relentless
selling of some of the trusts--not just oil and gas but
APF.UN, RRR.UN, PIF.UN and a number of others. PMT.UN was
down to 10.02 briefly today. Kastel said he was 70% cash.
I'm assuming not because he loves cash but because there
are buying opportunities approaching.
