I am having major problems with some adware popups. Its literally taking over my PC. I have run Adaware, Spybot, Hijack this and CW Shredder......to no avail. I have deleted thousands of files to no avail. I suspect its embedded in my registry files but I don't have a clue as to its file name. After the pop ups have been going for a while, an ad for virtual bouncer pops up........definitely feel like I've been set up. Slowly but surely, its taking over my PC......it can disable my altdeletecontrol function and my power mgmt software. I can't defrag or run scandisk. At times, the popups suck up all the resources and my PC freezes or crashes. Have called tech support @ MSFT and they don't have a clue. Let me know if anyone else is having this problem and if they have a fix. TIA. ted
