I was also surprised at how he's been deified. He did some good things, some bad, like most of them.

Like FDR, some of his policies can't be called anything but insane and resulted in a prolonging of the depression, but many people falsely think of him as having ended the depression, plus he was a fairly strong leader during WWII so he get deified even more then Reagan or any other president since Lincoln.
