You may focus on the Inquistion... -- but do try not to forget the The Thirty Years' War, which produced the largest religious death toll of all time.

"Beginning in 1618 when Protestant leaders threw two Catholic emissaries out of a Prague window into a dung heap. War flared between Catholic and Protestant princedoms, drawing in supportive religious armies from Germany, Spain, England, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, France and Italy. Sweden's Protestant soldiers sang Martin Luther's "Ein 'Feste Burg" in battle.

Three decades of combat turned central Europe into a wasteland of misery. One estimate states that Germany's population dropped from 18 million to 4 million. In the end nothing was settled, and too few people remained to rebuild cities, plant fields, or conduct education. "

Now imagine if they had the modern weapons that Stalin had?
And also try to remember , that for all their "religion" , they were as godless
as Stalin and even more relatively vicious...and even more wanton and unimaginably cruel.
And why not ...they all thought they had God on their side, as sure as you think today that you do.

Now show us your God Greg , once again ? The one and only true God.
The one without the glaring ignorance , evasion and hyypocrisy.
