I saw some posts where the outcome was characterized
as Bush taking Kerry's advice or adopting the Kerry Plan,
and others which accused Bush of begging Europeans to
help him be re-elected.

Who knows?

Seems to me that Kerry is the one who advocated bending
over for and to the Europeans, so his supporters should
be dancing in the street if that's how they see it.
