And exactly what did he get? What did the President get in this res? Troops? Money? Respect? Looks like he bent over (backwards) to get agreement.
Further, he He is simply following Kerry's plan re internationalization.

All he got was due dates to which he is accountable and agreement to report back to the Security Council. Hope we comply. Wouldn't want to be invaded for not complying with a UN resolution.
