Meese was indicted for bribery or illegal lobbying, something to do with taking money from WebTech or something like that.

Wrong. No indictment, though he did misbehave.

Yesterday, I came across my copy of Marilyn W. Thompson's "Feeding The Beast: How Wedtech Became The Most Corrupt Little Company In Amercia." Interestingly enough, Giuliani was responsible for most of the Wedtech convictions.

In early 1989, the Justice Department's Office of Professional Responsibility released a report on Meese's conduct suggesting that he engaged in "questionable ethics" and "circumvented numerous White House and departmental policies."

Ready to concede the point that Meese is not an ex-felon?
