Or do you also think, like LB, that countries like Sweden, Switzerland, Canada, Germany, etc. report "phoney stats"? When we are the place everybody wants to come for health care, what does that tell you, KL? They are being conned? When Doctors and prospective Doctors want to come here to get their degrees, are they wrong? We have the best medical care in the world. You want a "Commanding Heights" solution, which has failed with every other type of commerce. Why impose it on one of our best features? It will satisfy the "centralized planning" types, which you seem to be a member of, but will degrade the quality of our medical care. Top quality people don't want to spend their lives working for the Post Office. Your proposal would impose that type of solution on Doctors. By what right do you want to force them to become bureaucrats?
