Before you spout off, you ought to get your facts right. Go down to the third chart on this page:

... and note that Johnson and Carter both increased military spending more then Nixon, Ford, Reagan and Bush Sr.

This graph is of OUTLAYS. Yes, OUTLAYS were higher during the Vietnam War. Further, outlays during the Carter years reflected the HIGHEST INFLATION SINCE THE GREAT DEPRESSION. If you inflation-adjusted the Carter years the outlays would have been greatly diminished.

Again, you only reconfirm the limited analytical skills of the Left.
