Chan...You've got the 1996 formula right.In essence this gave equal weight to the 5 stochastics.At TAINJ I presented the "Diff" approach which allows you to create different strategies by weighting the 5 stocs.
Have you played around with this?
The plus of this approach is that it can create 100's of different strategies. The minus is that you can create 100's of different strategies. Thus you must know your goals (long vs short term;high or low risk tolerence,etc.)
