Janice -

One thing I think is humorous about this market - The WSJ in their "Abreast of the Market" daily column, usually quotes some trader in re the action just completed the previous day. The trader usually throws in his own 2 cents on what may happen the next day. So far, the market has done the exact opposite. But it's funny how they always find a trader the next day who has the perfectly logical explanation for what happened. Odd that they can't find that trader the day before. -gg-

For example, on Tuesday at mid-day, when the DJIA was rallying, the WSJIE quoted a trader as saying "Investors are bidding up the market in anticipation of the Fed leaving rates the same. But they may be setting themselves up for a disappointment. There won't be any rally following the news, because it's already priced into the market."
