"this Saudi extended royal family is the most corrupt leader regime in modern history
and they are USGovt's best friends"

I disagree. The Saudi extended family is composed of many spoiled and pampered people. They definitely behave with economic corruption within the Kingdom. In the mean time we have influence that contributes to this. On the one hand we encourage them to buy western products rather research, develop and manufacture in their own interests. The results are that, what is cool and useful in the west is popular in Arabia, where it may or may not have been engineered in their best interests. Along with this, they have furthered their dependency by having several generations of people raised in a culture in which they pay for goods and services because of who they believe they are. Who they have become is indebted to the west, and dependant on every kind of servant. They must keep selling oil to pay for their lifestyle because they have no other options and they are not changing as a culture.

We are beginning to see some efforts to construct a western style business bureaucracy but it is mostly for appearances to appease the masses who are becoming more and more unsettled with the corrupt system.

The system itself is corrupt because the Saudi family is treated as a special class, its almost pharonic. The Saudi leaders attempt to provide a just system but their, infighting and their extended clan screws it up for them. As far as Kingdoms go, they do as good as any. However, there are much more corrupt leader regimes. I believe Khadafi is more tyrannical, for example.
