I cited examples of where we were, at least indirectly. Rationality says as long as Saddam was in control of $$ and resources those attempt would continue.

I'm sorry if the only thing you consider an attack to be a Nornamdy style invasion. But it is that type of thinking that lead to our country's buttcheeks having been spread wide open over the past decade.
