This is a message to all regarding NT and UNIX (Solaris). As a client-server programmer, I think it is my responsibility to clear some rumors about NT and SunOS. NT is used mostly as client. UNIX is mostly used as server. NT is not mature for being used as server yet. That's why MSFT introducing the new version of NT. My company spent some time to test the new version and found it is far from mature to be used as a commercial server yet. I am not trying to give anyone any suggestion here but present the fact. It will take MSFT at least two years to catch up solaris. I hope people who do not understand client-server technology stop making rumor here. Everyone should be responsible for what he says.
