not all hostility is wrong

Ephesians 2:14
For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility

Let's talk about "dividing walls"

alleged believers

Wall #1. You versus the "alleged" believers. Of course, you are the ultimate judge of faith, it seems.

heathen hostility ... heathen hostility... the fact that they are heathens...

Wall #2. You versus "the heathens."

rather than attack the man via slander ... You have here made a heathen assault on Ashcroft

This is coming from the man who attacks my faith. There is no greater slander to me. Wall #3. You versus me.

I tell my heathen friends they will go to hell if they should persist in evil

It's just a non-stop party at your pad, isn't it?.

they do not like to hear it

yathink?

Matthew 7:1
Do not judge, or you too will be judged.

anti-Christian hostility
Why in the world would anyone be hostile toward you?

Wall after wall after wall. It's you against so many "thems" that's it's easy to lose count.

We're supposed to tear down the walls, not put them up.

The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector

Luke18:9
To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable: 10"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11The Pharisee stood up and prayed about[1] himself: 'God, I thank you that I am not like other men--robbers, evildoers, adulterers--or even like this tax collector. 12I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.'
13"But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, 'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'
14"I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

Which one are you Johannes? The Pharisee or the tax collector?

You ought now to repent of your evil
That's sound advice for everyone, even tax collectors like me.

Luke 12:1
Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
