Al, Tuesday or Wednesday, they had to evacuate the State Capitol building because it was reported that a plane had entered restricted air space over DC and was on a collision course with the building. In fact, the people were told there was one minute to impact........suddenly, the cameras panned on all these people from the building running for their lives. It was horrific. Then news reported that F-16s were trying to intercept the aircraft and would shoot it down if the plane did not respond to their commands. It turned out to be the Governor of Kentucky in his piper cub en route to Reagan's funeral. It seems his ID transponder had malfunctioned while he strayed into restricted airspace over DC. He safely landed at Reagan airport. Don't you feel much safer.........I do! ted
