Yes, Ish, I was pretty jumpy on 9/11. I accept the likelihood of another attack at any time.

Yesterday, I was two blocks from the Capitol, parked on the street, talking to my husband about a rendezvous spot so we could watch the Reagan funeral cortege together.

He keeps a radio on at work, and told me that they had just announced that the Capitol was being evacuated, that a small plane had entered restricted air space, and that I should get away as fast as I could.

Living where you do, this is not something that is likely to happen to you. I pray it never does.

Nevertheless, I disagree that the military can stop Al Qaeda, except by destroying strongholds.
