Based on the acceleration of RE prices compared to say 1979-80 (where the prime hit 21% and the 30 yr hit like 16%) (don't hold me to that exact), I'd say a lot higher than that. Just a WAG...

What it's telling me though is that the RE frenzy in So. Cal..and other hot places may even crescendo higher...
7% may not slow it down compare to what it took in 1979-80.

Of course, it's different this time...
