Whooops. Big rightwing lie. Libya hasn't been a threat to us in 10+ years. The Cheney crew made sure Lt. Colonel Kwiatowski's DOD report on Libya was rewritten. The Lt. Colonel wrote accurately that Gaddafi was now a moderate desperately wanting to make oil deals. Cheney made sure it was re-written to say Libya was still a terrorist state. Why? So dishonest Bushies could claim credit for converting Gaddafi. In fact Gaddafi was trying to make a deal with Clintonites 8-10 years ago but we had a policy not to negotiate with terrorists.
