One major task for my Beijing visit is for dental care. Last Friday, went to a hospital, and the dentist spent about 1.5 hr. with me, filling all 9 different teeth, and the total amount of bill is less than US$60. And she saved a tooth which my US doctor insisted on doing root cannel. The material she used was US imported porcerlin from 3M, all white color, much better than the filling I would get in the US (I am not saying the US does not have good or better material, but those good or better material are NOT covered by my HMO insurance. My insurance only covers the old black filling with mercury for rear teeth.

And this Monday, went to a hospital that specializes in dental care to have a couple of bridges, and next Monday will go for the fitting (will be the last visit). And the total amount of this is US$120, about 6% of the cost if I had my treatment in the US.
