But that didn't stop you from calling me one about twenty times.
I never called you a heathen. You are acting like one. You may simply be a wayward brother, or one who is ignorant. Or maybe you are a heathen. Whatever it is, I do not yet detect a bond of fellowship in Christ with you. You have actually attacked one of our brothers here, daytrader, and using heathen lies against his church. If you are a brother, then you ought to retract what you have done here against one of us. Ashcroft seems genuinely interested in living a Godly life, though we may reject his political performances and views. We ought not assault him as heathens do. He is trying to live properly and, simply because he is not as cool as you or I, heathens are assaulting him for it. You are joining the heathens instead of encouraging your brother.
Matthew 5:9 - Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. Is John Ashcroft a peacemaker?
Dear me. You do not know the Scriptures. When Christ was on the earth he caused quite a lot of disruption. You are claiming He sinned by your abuse of this verse. You ought to review the verse in its greater context.
The entire Bible happened "in the past!" This is yet another self-serving, prideful dismissal of the parts of the Bible that are inconvenient to your pride...
Revisit the text, and employ reason. You will see that Moses recounts the past events of his leadership, including his establishment of a tribal court wherin humans were doing the judging, with God being the ultimate judge.
If that means to read, learn, and live them as best I can, then so be it.
Unfortunately that does not seem to be happening in your case. |
