I am quite an optimist. It is that my source of optimism is no longer in America. I am a realist here. There is no real nation anymore - no 'E Pluribus Unum.' Americans are intensely divided on even the most fundamental of issues, such as the nature of family and even of basic right and wrong. If Kerry wins in November, these divisions will worsen as long as he supports a right to murder children and marriage/”civil unions” for sodomites. Ultimately, the effective balance of power will continue shifting leftward as the now morally ignorant American youth and their “reality TV” culture of divorce continues to take power. This is the best possible scenario for America. It cannot possibly be any better than this. It will in fact be much worse as a fat, unhealthy, morally soft and generally undisciplined people are left to endure the increasing healthcare costs and intense results of the debt they have built up over the last forty years.
