Hi Jochan:

The Reagan funeral has been an awesome display of organization, much by the Military (who nornally stays out of the public eye and in street clothes while off-base)

And respect for the Presidency.

How does it strike you? Does it change any attitudes in Europe to see that human beings inhabit offices here? Is it more obvious now that when the chips are down, and playtime on the beach is over, that Americans can dismiss their differences and work together to achieve a common goal?
