Jessie I just down loaded the latest version of Quarterdecks TuneUp. Which is still under development.. this is my review of the third release. Compared to Cybermedia's Oil Change.. Simple product description.. While connected to the internet the user can launch the TuneUp program. The Tuneup program profiles your computer and seacrhes an online database for hardware & software program updates & patches. The user can then select the update and install it, in many cases automatically. Vs. Oil Change Speed -- currently slower Number of updates & patches -- currently less Ease of use -- superior Number of items which were found that could be used to update my computer system -- TuneUp (device updates.. graphics.. HD. ect..) Number of program updates -- Oil Change (licensed software updates) Overall -- Oil Change. If you'd like to download this program. I believe it's located at.. tuneup.com Oil Change is a hot item for Cybermedia, and I'd have to believe in it's final release TuneUp will be hot on it's tail.
