>>How much of the US cost is property cost, taxes, liability, more taxes, wages for janitors, assistance, bookeeping for all the taxes, etc. ?<<

Dentists in China also have most of these cost, although at a fraction of the US because of the cheap labor in general. Dentists in China only use assistance for preparation of the tools/equipment, dentists have to do all the work, so lower the possibility of the accidence like pulling out a wrong tooth<g>

Talking about cosmetic surgery, one of my cousin who works in the US got eye bags under her eyes, so she checked out the price to remove it in the US. THe surgery in the US has to be done under complete unconciousness, and it costs US$2000-3000. While in Beijing, this is a small operation which needs only local numbness, and takes much shorter time, and only cost her 700 Yuan (less than US$100). And since the Chinese doctors have much more chances to practice so they are more skillful. So my cousin chose to do it in CHina, and she is very satisfied with the result. Although some cosmetic surgeons are lousy. So one has to his homework/some research.
