lychees- a lot, everywhere on the street of Beijing, sold anywhere bet. 4.5 -7.5 Yuan for 500 grams, depending on the variety (best ones with smallest pits). But lychees are super "hot" in nature, so one cannot eat too much at a time. Otherwise you might end up bleeding in the nose<g>

There are some other very delicious tropical fruits which not sold in the US. Cherries -- around 5-6 YUan for 500 grams. Good tomato (like the ones sold on farmers' market in the US) -- 0.9-1.3 Yuan for 500 grams, Chinese cucumber (the best in the world) -- 0.80-1.00 Yuan for 500 grams.
