I would like more care for my grandfather. There was better care a few years ago. His friends, who predeceased him, got better care. That would be good enough. I want basic cradle to grave for everyone- you are correct- I do not wish to live in a third world country, where people starve (even if it is their own "fault"- since fault is rather hard to assign, especially when you talk about children), or have gross deformities left untreated, and people have their begging bowls on the streets. It that's the outgrowth of a liberal mind, so be it. I think it is the outgrowth of a compassionate mind. I think it would be terrible to live without compassion. But that's jmo.
