That is simply not true. My adoptive mother just died in February. She got fabulous care. She was a teacher, and was covered by Perscare and blue cross. She was not a veteran, but received 10 times (conservatively) the care my poor grandfather is receiving. I think a little more is due to those who served, and there is much excellent care out there, we simply aren't giving it to poor veterans (or anyone else who is poor). I think that is wrong- at least for men whose health may have been ruined because they served their country. Now you might disagree with me that they deserve it, but it is certainly possible to give it to them. The care now is so bad, just a little improvement would be huge.
