Apparantly .10cents of the .35cents was a charge against inventory.
Still that leaves a whopping .25cents loss per share. Wasn't the
highest loss estimate .25cents? Guess it just goes to show that we
keep underestimating Novell's ability to lose $.

The part I don't get is why didn't Eric warn of such a huge loss?
He just let everyone think that estimates were conservative and
that the loss would be smaller than estimates.

So, far Mr. Schmidt has not impressed me with his perception management. Sure, ya gotta give him credit for biting the bullet
and clearing up the channel. But still, he shoulda gave some kind
of warning. Nobody's gonna trust this stock again for a long time.

God I hope IBM wants to buy this thing -- even for $9 or $10.

I bet it see's 6 & change tommorrow.

Hoping for a fluke up,

Good luck,

John Dodson
