I reviewed the following articles today and decided that there's a bit too much technology choice risk and competitive threat for me to remain long SVGI at current price.

While Canon, and Nikon are formidable competitors, both the "market" and AMAT have recently favored ASMLF. AMAT's choice to demonstrate tool integration using ASMLF system in a pilot plant is a particularly telling market signal in my view. I was also struck by the idea in the last mentioned article that Sematech seems to have written off SVGI's optical approach as a viable candidate for 0.15 micron and below feature sizes. While I don't expect Sematech to set a standard in November, its opinion has to carry alot of weight.

I'll stand out of the way while more knowledgable and influential decision makers make up their minds.
