= Le Mans 24 Hours Race = Race Report [After 90 minutes of racing] yokohamatire.jp ¡72nd Le Mans 24-hours race. ¡12th.June.2004 ¡Fine / Dry Just an hour and a half into the action and there's plenty going on. Our car no.9 laps in 8th position with the best time remaining at 3:41.106. @ Thirty minutes later and the KONDA ADVAN drivers are in 3rd place with Audi in first and the Pescorolo car in second. The no.2 and no.8 Audis get a little too close for comfort and take a trip into the gravel together. The no.2 car suffers some slight damage but makes it back to the pits ok, whereas the no.8 car driven by Alan McNish carries some servere damage to the front end and crabs home with sparks flying and front wheels fighting each other facing different directions. But he makes it back for repairs and is back on track after 3 laps. @ The safety car goes out and the field bunches up with the Audis at the top and our boys in 5th. A further two hours later and the ADVAN KONDO car is running in 14th spot, 8 laps behind the two Audis at the top and the Pescorolo car in third yokohamatire.jp
