Ted,

re: Bush Aide Watches Polls and Public Perceptions

Buyer beware.

From here on out, this is all about marketing and branding of the products; Bush or Kerry, which do you buy? The "issues" are just the features and benefits.

These guys both have some of the best marketing minds in the business. They each have 100's of $Millions in advertising funds to spend, concentrated on less than 20 swing states. In 5 months. With a WAG of 10%-15% of voters that could possibly change their minds, in those states. It will be a very focused and defined assault on those few folks that can make a difference.

And the stakes are huge. Think of the military contractor deals, the environmental deals, the telecom deals, the energy deals. $Billions in corporate profits are at stake depending on who wins in November.

Crunch time is just getting under way. It's all politics now. Both these guys will say or do anything to get elected. Don't bet that anything that they promise will actually happen.

Buyer beware.
