No, to know the shape of the lock you must do X-ray
crystalography not just clone the gene. even with the 3D
X-ray picture you still need to determine the active
protion of the protein, only then can you speculate
on an inhibitor. They either have an inhibitor or not.
If they don't, it will be years before they are ready
for clinical trails.
