How so?

And then you take that guy out. And the next. But you keep your resources focused on that group rather than moving on. I, for one, credit the Sharon administration in Israel, for better or for worse, for making his country a bit safer, at least on a day-to-day basis, for taking out Hamas leaders with impunity.

I do know that it's not the kind of war where you want to leave without tying up the loose ends, killing or capturing the leaders and rebuilding the country that you've invaded. We've done neither in Afghanistan.
