Because the Bible said so ! hehe And if it wasn't there by the time of Jesus of Nazreth or his contemporary, the great Rabbai Hillel spoke of it ....they would most assuredly have written it in as if it were . Who the heck are the chinese anyways? Some stupid godless people over in the far east that couldn't even figure out that gunpowder was good for other things beside fireworks...what complete fools they were ! (and inventing pasta of course ...but it wasn't kosher pasta , please remember ) But one of their wise men could concieve & teach the Golden Rule 500 yrs before Christ... ;-) PS: The Rabbai Hillel was an interesting fellow ...they crucified his disciple too for being a pacifist .
