enforcement of the nation's sexual harassment laws
"has nothing to do with the nation"?

The law in question was the "Violence Against Women
Act of 1994" which was passed by the Democrat-controlled
Congress and signed by Clinton.

This law enabled plaintiffs in sexual harassment lawsuits
to pry into the sexual history of defendants in open court.

Why no complaint from Democrats about this law
until it was used against Clinton?
Because it was a tool used by trial lawyers to
intimidate and shake down executives in the private
sector to make out-of-court settlements.
