I feel so American. Got my rental car-a Buick. I've never driven anything American, except when my parents were Ford people. Remember when a dad was a Ford man or a Chevy man? This car is fun! It goes much faster than my van--I was going down this little two lane country road and wondered why the guy in front of me was stopped. Looked down and I was going 65. I'm fascinated by Norton. Does he talk like Chevy Chase's cousin in Christmas Vacation? Did you hear about the couple fulfilling a naked hitchhiker fantasy? Only another driver came by before the man came back to pick her up and drove to a firestation to report it (some female with NO sense of humor) and the police went back and found her naked in the guy's car and arrested him for drunken driving?? I heard this driving on the country road listening to Dr. Laura, who always makes me feel like a bad person who has absolutely no control over her life, who spoils her children rotten, and who should be Jewish.
