The US hypocrisy is not unique. All "aggressive" warring nations fear the international war crimes committee in the Hague, and want to be exempt from prosecution. It is OK to give say Milosevich or Hussein up for judgment, but if your war effort is "righteous", and a few boo boos are committed on the way to enacting that righteous war.... so what, live with it.
