My point is that for such a small portion of our society, the military gets an awful lot of attention. More so than is warranted in my opinion. And, don't tell me they're out there defending me, yada yada yada. The U.S. has military in over 100 countries, defending everything but me. It's more of an economic tool than anything else. Hell, they couldn't properly defend me on 9/11 here in the U.S., but are stationed all over the world?!? Priorities!
