US Treasury to issue Ronald Reagan Bonds WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Treasury Department (news - websites) has announced plans to issue a new series EE treasury bond named after 'The Gipper'. The new $1 billion dollar denomination Reagan Treasury Bond will top the current $100 million dollar Series EE bond as the largest denomination public debt issue. In announcing the new debt issue, Treasury spokesman John Law said, "We hope the billion dollar Reagan Series Treasury Bond will be a fitting tribute to President Reagan's economic legacy".
