I know that the military is suppossed to exist for one reason, to defend this country. I know that during the cold war they were supposedly ready to defend us from the Soviet Union against an air attack. I also know that our defenses failed misserably on 9/11 and that we have troops stationed all over the damn world. We should make sure we have our own country defended before we go sticking our noses in other country's business.
