Your being silly chinu. Bush is very similar to Reagan, just not as charesmatic. The French and other nations screwed us, and possibly Reagan could have made them do otherwise. The truth is if the world backed us on Iraq, there never would have been a war. Either France and their buddies wanted to screw America so badly they do not care about right and wrong with Saddam, or the kickbacks they seem to have been getting needed to be protected. The dem position imo is that either of those is fine, and standing up for what is right is not. I suspect Reagan would have had a similar strategy, but may have had better luck convincing the haters.
