What you posted is just your opinion. But let us pause to examine the facts.

Americans are less safe abroad as evidenced by the increasing number of attacks on US citizens. All those State Department advisories to Americans travelling abroad is another proof that Americans are less safe than say 5 years ago.

Even in the US, the government is constantly reminding us that our water system could be poisoned, someone could let off a dirty bomb in our public transportation system etc. Would you feel safer in the face of such advisory and news? We ask, where is the vigilance of the Homeland security. Shouldn't they be highlighting that instead. Or is it that the Administration does not have anything to show in that area.

So let us get over this rhetoric of the left, right, liberal etc. and get down to serious business of fighting a real war on terrorism. If people like you have forgotten what the war on terrorism was like let us recall Afghanistan where all the nations of the world came together including the French, Germans, Russians. Repeat, Iraq is not a war on terrorism. <font color=red>Iraq has been a Bush failure. He has dragged this nation down with his decision to get involved in Iraq. IRAQ WAS UNNECCESSRY.
