In the fall of 1998 the VXO/VIX had one of its highest spikes ever Michael. Never trust an analyst but comparisons today to 1998 show few similarities in objective measures of market sentiment. Valuations may seem similar to many but I just don't see it when I look at long term monthly charts because the SOX hit a low of 182.59 in 1998! investorshub.com RtS
