we need alternate sources of energy in the long run and conservatin and more drilling in the short run. Hell thats the reason price should stay this high. A very nice, succinct energy policy. I agree - only high gas prices will make people conserve and lead to more exploration and/or implementation of alternative energy production. It will cause short term disruptions but that's a hell of a lot better than the long term disruptions caused by top-down edicts from Federal bureaucrats.
