rupert, Validation of these components and modules enables AMD Opteron processor customers to choose DDR registered DIMMs in all densities, including 256MB to 4GB, and at all speed grades, including PC2100, PC2700, and PC3200. Good news. A dual Opteron box will be able to have 32 GB of PC-3200 RAM (with 2 DIMMs per channel, 8 total). BTW, it is funny that a single stick can span the entire memory span supported by 32 bit processors. Joe
