My thought was that the American Bar Association is very much aligned with the Democratic party and it support of class action suits.

This is a whopper in the making.

If one wanted to make their candidate look good - I'd defer this huge short cover calamity till "your man" was in office.

It is after all - all about supply and demand. This exposes artificial/illega; supply and will immediately motivate those most nimble traders (the shorts and hedges) to cover.

The only delay in preventing a huge wave of demand lies in delaying the story.Once the virus is ought it will be a overnight plague.

This will have rammifications much like Enron/World Com had to the sell side.I believe its first reaction will be to the cover side.
