Can I infer that if the source for a post is a blog the above rule does not apply?

I have got into the habit of listing the source at the top, and listing a URL at the bottom if I think it is germane. I figure on the minor stuff you can find it off the top listing.

The most important thing to me is to know the source before I read the article. Gives me a better insight into reading it.

In 99 cases out of a 100, I am do not have the URL when I read a blog. I get them off my RSS feed which does not list them. I click over and get the URL when I think others will want to go there.
